Trapped in Moscow's underground levels, Agnes, Tarsi, Gomard, Vitos, and their men allied with the formidable Prigozhin to reach Putingrad. While Tarsi broke into the Kremlin systems, she discovered that those responsible for the July 15 nuclear apocalypse were none other than the Russian Minister of Defense and his political allies. But the Tholians are closing in. Prigozhin then revealed the existence of a convoy of weapons from World War II, parked a few levels below. The team prepares to flee aboard that antique locomotive, hoping its old engines will be enough to escape the tide of enemies invading the Moscow underground.

TL;DR
As the Tholians break through the Kremlin's defenses, Agnes and her team evacuate with Prigozhin and his militia, rushing down toward the Catherine II underground station. The corridors fill with aliens, fighting erupts everywhere, and flamethrowers roar. While Tarsi and Eros struggle to start the steam locomotive with overheated phasers, Gomard and Lebeau organize the defense around the convoy. Just when all seems lost, Prigozhin, true to his temperament, leads a suicidal charge against the Tholians. He fights with primitive rage, cutting down the creatures until exhaustion, before sacrificing himself in an explosion that seals the passage behind him. The way to Putingrad is finally clear.
Story
Currently sheltered in the Kremlin command room, we are putting together a plan to leave the Moscow bunker.
A few meters from us, the Tholians have already started pounding against one of the entrances.
To increase our chances of survival, we have made an alliance of convenience with the leader of a Russian terrorist militia.
He is supposed to help us reach Catherine II underground station, where an antique locomotive is waiting to take us to Putingrad.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Hello, Charlie Unit, this is Alpha Unit.
Do you read me?
Charlie Unit
This is Charlie Unit.
We read you loud and clear and are awaiting your instructions, Alpha Unit.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Here are your new orders.
Seal the bunker access to the metro immediately, without waiting for us.
Rally to Putingrad with the four shuttles.
We will join you via the underground rail network in twenty-four hours.
Charlie Unit
Copy that, Alpha Unit.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
On arrival, locate a bunker entrance and infiltrate inside.
Priority objective: locate the Grand Tsar Putin.
Alpha Unit, out.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Let's hope they don't run into trouble.
That's our very last team.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
I hope so too.
Without them, we'll stay stuck in Putingrad.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Enough talking.
We need to move immediately!
The Tholians will break through that door in a minute... maybe two!
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
You're right. Let's move.
Robert, Eros, free the militiamen and give them their weapons back.
You, big guy... you had better not try anything dirty.
Yevgeny Prigozhin (Militia Leader)
Don't worry about that, flat-chest.
I want to get my hands on Grandpa as much as you do.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Go, go, go! Move your asses!
Lebeau, do you have the remote detonator for the charges?
Cpl. Lebeau (Army)
Yes, Colonel.
Awaiting your order to trigger them.
Yevgeny Prigozhin (Militia Leader)
Heeey, not yet!
Wait until we're in position!
You there... the skinny guy with the mustache!
Hand me that portable heavy machine gun... and the sledgehammer!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Me?!
Phew... these things aren't light!
Cmdr. Tarsi
Careful... here they come!
Tholian (Aragthonian)
...Skrrkk chlkkk tsssk zzzip sssschk...
As the Tholians flood into the Kremlin command center, the fifteen or so militiamen and our unit fall back through the opposite access point.
At a run, we enter a long corridor about five hundred meters in length.
At every intersection, more Tholians emerge, always more numerous.
Yevgeny Prigozhin (Militia Leader)
Take that, you Martian mutants!
Cmdr. Tarsi
Agnes!
At the end of the corridor, we take the stairs and go down three levels!
Tholian (Aragthonian)
...Skrrkk chlkkk tsssk zzzip sssschk...
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
God damn it...
They're already in the stairwell.
Robert, hand me your flamethrower!
While continuing to cover our rear with his heavy machine gun, Colonel Gomard tosses me his flamethrower.
I catch it in midair and begin the descent, step by step, forcing the attackers back.
The Tholians cannot withstand temperature variations, and I make them pay dearly for it.
Once I reach the bottom, I let out a cry of relief when I see our means of transport waiting for us at the platform.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Vitos, you're up.
Get this antique started, and we clear out right now!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
What?!
Right now, Captain?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Yes, right now!
In case you missed it, we are being chased by an armada of hostile aliens!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Uh... Captain, I don't mean to contradict you, but...
We'll have to hold the position for at least two hours.
That's the minimum time needed to start this thing.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Are you kidding me?!
You're only telling me this now?!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Uh...
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Tarsi, go with Vitos.
Find a way to start that locomotive as fast as possible.
Robert, did you hear that?
We're stuck here!
Tholian (Aragthonian)
...Skrrkk chlkkk tsssk zzzip sssschk...
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Understood, Agnes!
Lebeau, get into the T-34 on the last railcar and take the machine gun!
Cpl. Lebeau (Army)
Yes, Colonel!
While we improvise a barricade to contain the Tholian assaults, Eros and Tarsi rush toward the front of the convoy and climb into the locomotive.
Cmdr. Tarsi
How does it work?
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
First, I check that there's water... and coal.
Cmdr. Tarsi
And then?
Why do we have to wait two hours to start it?
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
In short?
We need to heat the boiler.
Cmdr. Tarsi
All right. I understand.
Set your phaser to maximum power and aim it like I do.
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Heeey, not so fast!
Tarsi activates her phaser.
The energy beam strikes the coal, and the boiler temperature begins to rise brutally.
A few seconds later, a dull detonation shakes the locomotive, throwing them both backward into the fuel hold.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Mamma...
What just happened?!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
God damn it, Tarsi!
I told you not to go too fast!
You have to watch the gauges, control the pressure, and above all, keep the needles out of the red!
Look what you did...
The chimney cap is completely shredded and twisted like artichoke leaves!
Cmdr. Tarsi
Oops...
Sorry.
Let's start again, calmly.
And this time, we'll monitor the temperature.
At the rear of the convoy, the situation is hardly more encouraging.
Robert, Lebeau, and I have taken position on the T-34, while the militiamen deploy across the platforms to contain the Tholians.
That is when Prigozhin moves away from the group.
As he walks, he pulls a magnetic tape from his pocket.
He disappears for a moment into a small booth, probably the old stationmaster's office.
When he comes back out, the station loudspeakers crackle.
Then music rises.
A Richard Wagner classic, heavy, solemn, overwhelming.
Yevgeny Prigozhin (Militia Leader)
Hey, flat-chest!
I'm entrusting Grandpa to you.
Make him swallow his dentures for me.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Uh...
He then rejoins his men.
His gaze is fixed, turned toward the darkness from which the Tholians are already emerging.
A heavy machine gun in one hand.
The sledgehammer in the other.
Then he charges.
The bullets cut down the first enemy lines.
Tholian crystals burst under the sledgehammer blows.
The station echoes with gunfire, impacts, screams.
But the wave is too dense.
In one final gesture, Prigozhin places himself in front of his men.
He takes the hits.
Again.
He lets out one last cry of defiance against the enemy.
Then vanishes in a blinding detonation when the crystalline fragmentation grenades explode against him.
The ground trembles.
The tunnel walls crack.
With a deafening rumble, the vault collapses.
The militia, the Tholians... everything is swallowed under a mass of rock and dust.
The passage is now blocked, giving us precious respite.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Uh...
I didn't understand any of that.
Why did he sacrifice himself?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
I don't know.
I'm as baffled as you are.
Cpl. Lebeau (Army)
That kind of action is part of the Russian collective imagination.
To die as a hero, in battle.
Don't try to understand it.
