After discovering a Morse distress signal coming from the Moon, the USS Enterprise sends Angie Chen, Charlene Savea, and Eros Vitos on an exploration mission to the Apollo 11 landing site. There, the historical equipment has mysteriously vanished, replaced by an unknown vessel. As they approach, a ramp opens and a humanoid silhouette appears: a drunk Andorian named Tarsi, commander in Starfleet's Temporal Division... from the 26th century.

TL;DR
Asleep after a Romulan bender, Tarsi is taken in by Angie, Charlene, and Eros. Her body reveals strange subcutaneous implants and extraordinary technology. After a noisy wake-up, she pilots her vessel, the Tal'Kyr, with Angie to the Enterprise. There, the two women undergo decontamination protocol before Tarsi is placed in quarantine, pending a meeting with Captain Agnes Rodriguez.
Story
Tarsi has been asleep for nearly twenty minutes. For her comfort, Eros laid her on one of the shuttle's benches while Charlene scanned her.
The result is surprising.
It appears she has several subcutaneous implants.
Angie studies her, unable to stop herself from wondering who she really is. Her outfit, eccentric as it may be, seems human in origin. At least, no one would doubt it. She's wearing boxer shorts, white sneakers, and a purple T-shirt marked with the words Chu Chu in colorful lettering.
Angie gently lifts the fabric to take a closer look at the glow she had seen earlier on her stomach. She runs a finger over it.
No roughness. No difference between the skin and this mysterious implant...
Ens. Eros Vitos Weapons Engineer
Commander Chen... are we just going to stand here waiting for Sleeping Smurfette to wake up?
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
I hope not, Eros.
Hand me her little box.
Ens. Eros Vitos Weapons Engineer
Here it is, Commander.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
I can't read the label. I don't recognize this language.
Lt. Charlene Savea Operations
Commander, she said it was green worm jelly for her hangover.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
I remember, Charlene. I'm going to give her some.
Maybe it will wake her up.
Angie unscrews the small lid. An indefinable smell escapes from it. A mixture of algae, hot metal, and... wet earthworm. She wrinkles her nose, then brings the substance to Tarsi's mouth.
The alien reacts almost instantly.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Hmm... hmm... Buuuuuuuuuuuuuurp!
Ahem... Where am I?
The burp echoes through the cabin like a sonic discharge, enough to make some panels vibrate. Angie starts slightly, surprised by the sheer force of such a simple awakening.
Ens. Eros Vitos Weapons Engineer
Well... I'd say it's pretty effective, Commander.
I've never heard anyone burp that loudly.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Please, Eros... be quiet.
Commander Tarsi, do you remember us?
How do you feel?
Tarsi blinks, confused. She looks at them one by one, each glance arriving half a second late, as if the world were half a second ahead of her.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Hmm... yes. I'm fine, Commander Angie Chen.
Thank you for waking me.
Her voice is still a little hoarse, but she now articulates with more confidence. A slight smile appears on her lips.
She's finding her footing again.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Commander Tarsi, are you fit to pilot your shuttle back to the Enterprise?
Cmdr. Tarsi
Almost. I may need a hand, Commander Angie Chen.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Eros, Charlene. Get back aboard Herbie and return to the Enterprise.
As for me, I'll accompany our guest.
Lt. Charlene Savea Operations
Aye, Commander.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Let's go, Commander Tarsi. Let's head over to your vessel.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Just call me Tarsi, Commander Angie Chen.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
All right, Tarsi. But on one condition.
Cmdr. Tarsi
What's the condition?
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
That you call me Angie.
Cmdr. Tarsi
That is a fair deal... Angie.
Angie helps Tarsi stand up. The Andorian sways slightly on the first step, long enough to regain her balance in the weak gravity, then stabilizes.
They enter the little vessel, and what Angie discovers is both mind-bending and magnificent. Glowing shapes and colored lines float and dance throughout the cabin. She steps forward and tries to touch them, but her hand passes through.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
This is incredible... What is it?
Cmdr. Tarsi
A simplified representation of the fabric of time.
Sit in front of that holographic sphere. It indicates both direction and speed.
Place both hands on it and position your fingers to steer.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Wow... that is ingenious.
I think I can manage.
This system is similar to the one we use on our ships, except we don't have the holographic display.
Cmdr. Tarsi
The ship is powered up.
You can take us out, Angie.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Here we go!
Yeaaaah... this is amaaaazing.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Relax your fingers, Angie.
You'll have a smoother touch.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
I'm relaxed... it's just not easy. I can't actually feel the sphere.
Cmdr. Tarsi
You will get used to it quickly.
But slow down. You're coming in too fast to land in the shuttle bay.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
I'm trying to be precise. Your shuttle is almost as large as the Enterprise's bay.
Cmdr. Tarsi
It is not a shuttle. The Tal'Kyr is a small support vessel.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Aaah... that explains its size.
The Tal'Kyr lines up with the shuttle bay. The Enterprise's light markers reflect on its hull.
Angie makes a series of small corrections.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
There we go, Tarsi.
You can cut the engines and open the ramp.
In the Shuttle Bay, Charlene waits for Angie and the alien to begin the decontamination protocol. Eros, meanwhile, has already returned to his usual duties.
Which leaves the girls to themselves.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Ladies, please enter this small room and undress.
You will place your clothes in this hatch. Our cleaning staff will disinfect them and you will recover them when you leave the chamber.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Brrrr... old-fashioned decontamination, in the buff.
I hope you turned on the heat.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Don't worry. We've thought of everything.
Right, Charlene?
Lt. Charlene Savea Operations
Yes, Commander. It is like a sauna where you sweat buckets.
I love it.
Dry heat fills the chamber.
Without really thinking, Angie shifts her weight, running a hand through her hair to clear the back of her neck.
Tarsi slowly stretches her shoulders, as if chasing away the last traces of fatigue.
Charlene briefly examines the control panel and adjusts a setting.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Tarsi, after this procedure, you will be placed in quarantine in one of our quarters.
The captain will come see you once all the procedures have been completed.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Thank you, Angie. I understand.
Will you be there with her?
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
If you'd like me to, I'll be there.
Cmdr. Tarsi
I do, Angie.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
In that case, I'll accompany Captain Rodriguez.
A brief silence settles in. The heat continues to pulse softly around them. Angie simply shifts her weight from one foot to the other, her gaze sliding toward Tarsi, as if to pick up the thread of their interrupted conversation.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
On the Moon, you told me that you knew me.
Can you tell me more?
But I've never met you.
Cmdr. Tarsi
I am sorry, Angie.
I'd rather wait until your captain is here.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
All right, Tarsi.
Lt. Charlene Savea Operations
Commander Chen, the indicator has turned green.
We can leave the decontamination chamber now.
Cmdr. Angie Chen Number One
Thank you, Charlene.
Let's get dressed. Then you'll escort our guest to her quarters.
Lt. Charlene Savea Operations
Aye, Commander.
