As the mission to Earth is being prepared, Captain Rodriguez obtains an exemption from Admiral Michaux: the Enterprise will not take part in the escort of the Nauvoo ships, but will carry out a secret special operation. The Enterprise will transport Colonel Gomard and fifty of his soldiers to Moscow to take control of the Kremlin, a mission Rodriguez considers suicidal. Determined not to let the commando leave alone, she brings Gomard over to her cause and reveals the existence of the alien vessel Tal'Kyr and its pilot, Tarsi, an Andorian from the future.

TL;DR
Agnes introduces Tarsi to Colonel Gomard, hoping for her help with the mission on Earth. Tarsi surprises everyone by explaining that, in her reality, the series Galaxy Patrol truly exists under the title Star Trek, a remnant of a temporal war in the 26th century. Convinced by Rodriguez, she agrees to reinforce the commando's equipment and to take part in the mission herself.
Story
After showing the small ship to the colonel, we leave the Enterprise shuttle bay and make our way through the corridors toward Tarsi's isolation quarters.
During the walk, I keep Robert up to date on all our discoveries.
His expression wavers between disbelief and perplexity, but he remains attentive to my revelations.
After all, discovering the existence of other life forms in the universe, ones that also travel through time, can seem a little far-fetched...
But as my explanations continue, as I detail certain aspects, especially those tied to NATO and the future technology we now benefit from, I sense a glimmer of interest awakening in him.
As if the veil of doubt were slowly beginning to lift, making way for a far more dangerous curiosity.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
... I'll admit it, I am completely unsettled.
The probability of other life forms existing may be high, but seeing them show up at our doorstep...
I was thousands of light-years away from expecting that.
What irritates me most is thinking that, at the top, they are still hiding these discoveries from us even though we are now on the front line.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
They did make a small effort.
Admiral Michaux handed me a fairly thick file...
But it is still very vague.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Do you have any idea what pushed him to give it to you?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
No.
But you know, now that we are down to a general staff reduced to a few thinking heads, he can allow himself certain liberties he never would have had in normal times.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
You're right.
He is probably not the only one taking advantage of the situation.
The approval of the mission, by itself, is enough to suggest that some people are playing their own hand...
Without us really knowing what their goal is.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Don't worry about the mission.
I promised I would help you.
Besides... here we are.
Lt. Maestria
Hello, Captain. Hello, Colonel.
Are you here to see the alien?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
That's right.
Could you open the door, please?
Lt. Maestria
There you go, Captain.
Access is unlocked.
As the security officer resumes watch over the entrance door to the isolation quarters, the colonel and I step inside.
Tarsi is lying on the couch, watching television.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Hi, Tarsi.
I hope we're not disturbing you.
Let me introduce Colonel Gomard.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Hello, Colonel Gomard, sir.
Hello, Agnes.
No, no... you're not disturbing me.
I was watching the Star Trek series Angie downloaded for me.
She wanted my opinion.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Star Trek?
I don't know it.
And yet I've already watched her entire catalog with her.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Uh... I made a mistake.
In your reality, the series is called Galaxy Patrol.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Ah.
And what is your opinion?
Cmdr. Tarsi
It is relatively interesting to compare the two realities.
In my world, this series was fed real elements by a division of the 26th-century temporal section.
Whereas in your reality, there is no one in the future to do the same thing.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Uh...
You mean that in your reality, you manipulate the past?
Cmdr. Tarsi
No.
We protect it.
Thirty years ago, in 2524, during the temporal cold war, a terrorist faction attacked Earth's media from the 1960s, television, radio, cinema, by revealing the true future.
The Star Trek series is, in a way, a remnant of that intrusion.
The temporal section only corrected the content so that it would not influence the future.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
I'm having trouble following.
How is it that the Aragthonians' ship looks like the one we encountered, when the series in our reality was not manipulated by people from the future?
Cmdr. Tarsi
I have no explanation.
Information from your intelligence services may have reached the series producers.
In any case, they were not very kind to Andorians.
My species looks like a big Mugato in it... without the horn.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
We'll try to clear that up later.
For now, I need your assistance.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Great.
What can I do for you?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
I'll be direct.
Colonel Gomard has been assigned a mission that consists of storming the Kremlin bunker with a squad of fifty men.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Well...
You are brave, Colonel Gomard, sir.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Courage has nothing to do with it, young lady.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Indeed.
We have no information on the bunker, and the chances of success are very low.
From what you told me, you know our technology very well.
I would like you to make our equipment more reliable and improve its performance.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Uh... yes.
Your technology is derived from mine, but I am not an engineer.
I am a tactician.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
And as such, you have no technical knowledge?
Cmdr. Tarsi
I do. A little.
Just what I need to manage when I go on a mission.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
We only have two days to prepare.
Will you help us?
Cmdr. Tarsi
Yes.
But I'm also coming with you on site.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Denied!
I can't guarantee your protection.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Sorry, Robert.
She's coming. And so am I.
Tarsi is an outstanding fighter.
In hand-to-hand combat, your soldiers don't come close to her level.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
All right.
But let me remind you that I remain in charge of the operation.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
We agree, Robert.
What do you think, Tarsi?
Cmdr. Tarsi
Yahoooo!
I'm gonna kick Russian ass!
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Robert, I am entrusting Tarsi to you and assigning Ensign Eros Vitos to assist you.
He has a degree in technology developed in Area 51, and he will be useful to you.
Remember to put only trusted men on this.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
That will require a little reshuffling in my organization chart...
But it can be done.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Perfect.
Have fun, both of you.
Cmdr. Tarsi
Neat!
