The situation has gradually deteriorated since Schak'Irra returned in 2554. Admiral Quihoui had Tarsi arrested for temporal terrorism, while locking the ship's archives and leaving Captain T'Met's younger double under her supervision. As for T'Met, she has been relieved of command and relegated to supervising the 21st-century refugees. On Earth, T'Met and her team have tried to understand the true reasons behind the trial. That is when Counsel Touit'Air, Tarsi's Aenar lawyer, revealed a key element: the missing data, the data capable of proving her innocence, had been entrusted before the battle of 1954 to a single entity: Lingua, the artificial intelligence that disappeared with Enterprise.

TL;DR
Over a glass of Romulan beer on a virtual yacht, Counsel Touit'Air lays out his audacious plan: a covert mission through time to extract Lingua from Enterprise just before its explosion in 1954. T'Met, despite losing her command, agrees to lead the operation with the help of Zaneth-Myra Lysana, infiltrated aboard Schak'Irra. Charlene and Emilie will wear Starfleet uniforms to blend in with the crew, while Gornok and Gomard provide ground cover from a hacked public transporter. The objective: infiltrate Schak'Irra, activate the temporal chamber, and bring back Lingua, Agnes, and Angie.
Story
For Counsel Touit'Air, everything was clear, as crystalline as the Romulan liquid he was sipping. The key to clearing Tarsi lay with Lingua, that artificial entity capable of providing the ultimate proof of her innocence. But the problem remained: Lingua had been destroyed in 1954 with Enterprise.
Capt. T'Met
Counsel, you know very well that Lingua disappeared with Enterprise in 1954.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Granted, yes. But you are forgetting one thing. This timeline, the Schak'Irra Timeline, as you named it, does not officially exist... You and Miss Lysana have also confirmed that Admiral Quihoui made sure no trace would remain, except...
Capt. T'Met
Except what?
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Except what has been.
Capt. T'Met
I do not understand where you are going with this, Counsel.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
You always ask the wrong questions, T'Met. Remind me, how did you escape death in 2270?
Capt. T'Met
Admiral Quihoui sent Commander Lysana to retrieve Na'kuhl data. She extracted us from USS Pioneer before its destruction, taking us to 2547.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Exactly. And you even signed your own death certificate when you arrived in our era, did you not?
Capt. T'Met
Uh... Yes... But I do not see what that has to do with Lingua.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Everything. If we can play with time once, why not twice?
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Do what? Hic... sorry...
Capt. T'Met
Counsel Touit'Air is suggesting we return to 1954, aboard Enterprise, just before its destruction, to recover Lingua.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Why are you hesitating, Captain T'Met?
Capt. T'Met
Schak'Irra is the only ship currently docked at the starbase that can organize this type of rescue. However, I am no longer its captain.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Well, carbon-fiber pipe dreams! You had everything you needed at hand to save Captain Rodriguez and Commander Chen, and you did nothing?
Capt. T'Met
Not exactly, Miss Flores. Schak'Irra has a spatiotemporal chamber that can create a bubble for traveling through space and time. We could not use it because we were near Enterprise, in the same timeline. In addition, at that moment, its use was unjustified.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
I do not understand much of your temporal fairy tales... But if we can recover Agnes, Angie, and Lingua, I say we go for it!
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
I agree, Robert! What is stopping us, Captain T'Met?
Capt. T'Met
Admiral Quihoui removed me from command of Schak'Irra. I no longer have access to the ship. I doubt my younger double would let us in to carry out a covert mission into the past.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Now we are beginning to understand each other, my dear T'Met. And that is precisely why I invited Miss Lysana to join us.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
I can indeed infiltrate you aboard Schak'Irra discreetly. I will deactivate Lingua under the pretext of maintenance and modify the schedule of the security teams in charge of surveillance. However, we will need to find a way to transport you.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Schak'Irra does not have transporters?
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
It does, but once docked at the spacedock, Starfleet security teams control all transporter traffic.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Then we take a shuttle.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
For the outbound trip, yes. But on the way back, you would be intercepted in no time.
Capt. T'Met
The shuttle is not useful. There are public transporters in San Francisco. By posing as a maintenance team, we could divert one.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
You have ideas, T'Met! I love that. Burp.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
That's all well and good, but you are planning this mission like a simple stroll in the park. Believe me, I have done infiltrations, and this one is extremely far-fetched.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
I agree with Robert. T'Met and Zaneth-Myra are the only ones among us who know how to handle this century's technology, and this plan requires a qualified team. Who is going to hack the public transporter? Who is going to activate the temporal chamber? Who is going to dismantle Lingua aboard Enterprise?
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Charlene, we are trained to face these challenges. We may not have the knowledge, but we were taught to act with a certain methodology. You and I will accompany Captain T'Met to dismantle Lingua and recover Captain Rodriguez and Commander Chen.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
This is insane! Lingua is not a simple computer with cables! At MI6, you are good, but not to the point of handling this technology!
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Captain T'Met will give us crash courses. Basic dismantling is all we need.
Capt. T'Met
Indeed, that is conceivable. Miss Flores already has some experience in this field. Dismantling Lingua does not necessarily require advanced knowledge.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
For hacking the transporter, the Tellarite on your team could handle it.
Capt. T'Met
Chief Gornok is mostly a mechanic. I will explain what he needs to do to manage transport to Schak'Irra and bring us back once the mission is complete.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
When the team is sent to 1954 aboard Enterprise, it will have only a few minutes to complete its objectives in total chaos. I am coming with you to cover you.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
Mr. Gomard, the temporal bubble can hold only five people. If you accompany them, one of you will be condemned to remain on Enterprise. You will be more useful monitoring the public transporter with Gornok.
Capt. T'Met
Very well. All we are missing now are uniforms for Misses Charlene and Emilie.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
Take these identifiers. They are the ones used to synthesize Lieutenant T'Killa's and Lieutenant T'Less-Cop's uniforms.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Uniforms? What for?
Capt. T'Met
It is a precaution so you will pass unnoticed once we are aboard Schak'Irra.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Fine. If they are the right size, why not. When do we start?
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
Ideally tomorrow morning at 10:00, during the officers' coffee break.
Counsel Touit'Air (Lawyer)
Perfect. I see you have thought of everything. Once you have recovered Lingua, you will meet me at the San Francisco tribunal. I leave you to your preparations. Burp.
Capt. T'Met
Live long and prosper, Counsel.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
I am leaving as well. We will meet tomorrow morning aboard Schak'Irra.
Counsel Touit'Air and Commander Lysana leave the holosuite. T'Met, Emilie, Charlene, and Robert head back to their apartment to inform the rest of the team.
