After a dizzying chase through San Francisco, Admiral Quihoui disappeared, leaving behind a troubling revelation: she apparently called T'Met... "Mother". Brought back to the tribunal by Starfleet Security, Agnes and T'Met witnessed the JAG verdict: Tarsi was cleared, Quihoui declared a fugitive, and Censsukr' appointed head of the Temporal Division. In recognition of their actions, T'Met and Tarsi received the Christopher Pike Medal and were given a new mission: help the survivors of Enterprise integrate into the 26th century.

TL;DR
Settled at Vista Ridge, Agnes, Angie, and the crew adapt to their new life under the watchful care of the Temporal Division. Everyone begins to imagine a future: some dream of space, others of peaceful civilian life. In the middle of this transition, T'Met and Tarsi return with a major announcement: every crew member is now officially recognized as a citizen of the United Federation of Planets. But there is no time to rest: T'Met and Tarsi invite Agnes and Angie aboard a shuttle for a mysterious destination...
Story
The days have passed, and we are now settled in our apartment at Vista Ridge, overlooking San Francisco's Presidio. The Temporal Division watches over us with almost disconcerting efficiency, making sure our transition into a century we knew nothing about only weeks earlier goes as smoothly as possible. Specialized agents guide us, answer our questions, and help us imagine a future we never could have pictured.
My officers are starting to think about what comes next. Dr. Calpel, Manu, Gornok, and K'hoka long for a peaceful civilian life, far from turmoil. Robert Gomard, a soldier to the core, is seriously considering joining the M.A.C.O. section. As for Angie, Eric, Emilie, and Charlene, their desire to serve aboard a starship leaves no doubt. Listening to them dream about space, I almost feel they were born for this era, much more than I was.
And me? The idea of joining Starfleet Academy as a simple cadet after commanding the flagship of NATO's Special Fleet weighs heavily on me. For now, my thoughts are interrupted by the return of Tarsi and T'Met, fresh from a meeting with their new superior, Admiral Censsukr'.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Heeey, Tarsi, T'Met! I'm so happy to see you again. We haven't crossed paths since the trial. What brings you here?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Aaaah, Emilie, if only you knew... hee hee hee... We brought a few surprises. We know how difficult this adaptation period is for all of you, far from your era and your original reality.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Don't remind me, Tarsi. Just thinking I'll never see my loved ones again really gets me down.
Capt. T'Met
The purpose of this adaptation period is precisely to allow you to mourn your past and begin a new life, full of hope and possibility.
Lt. Cmdr. Eric Corda (Pilot)
We come from a world at war, where every day brought its share of tragic losses. I think I will adapt fairly easily to this new reality.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
I've seen soldiers fall, good people. I'm hardened. But what truly worries me is our future. We are 500 years out of step, and I won't be able to command an armed brigade like before, or... whack Russians for fun.
Capt. T'Met
Indeed, Colonel Gomard. Today's Russia represents no threat you must fight.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Oh, stop talking, T'Met, and tell them the news!!!
Capt. T'Met
That is what I was about to do before you interrupted me, Commander Tarsi.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
What news, Captain T'Met?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Come on, T'Met, tell them!
Capt. T'Met
Very well. You have waited long enough.
Captain T'Met approaches the living room synthesizer and murmurs a few words I can barely make out. The device hums softly and materializes several small, shiny silver objects that vaguely resemble stylized badges. T'Met takes them one by one and distributes them methodically.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
What are these?
Capt. T'Met
Your personal combadges.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
Like the ones we used on Tellar Prime?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
No, not exactly. These are provisional, until an identification chip is implanted. In a sense, these combadges are the equivalent of your 21st-century ID cards. Just tap one to display your personal information.
K'hoka Khol'a
Ooooh, this is the first time I've seen that. Usually, my name appears on posters marked "wanted, dead or alive."
Gornok
Pff, that will be a change for you. But I don't see what it's for. Gornok knows who he is and does not need a tattletale badge.
Capt. T'Met
This identity combadge indicates that you are now officially citizens of the Federation.
Agnes V. Rodriguez
It's official already? Damn, your administrators work fast. We've only been here a week.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Admiral Censsukr' did not want things to drag on. She knocked on the right doors to speed up the process.
Agnes V. Rodriguez
All right. But that doesn't move the Schmilblick forward. What are we supposed to do now that we are Federation citizens?
Capt. T'Met
The Schmilblick?
Emilie Flores
You should know, my dear Vulcan captain, that the Schmilblick is an imaginary object that serves no purpose and every purpose, and was popularized by a French humorist in the 1950s.
Charlene Savea
Well, you just taught me something, Emilie. I thought it was a Guy Lux invention.
Robert Gomard
Ah-ha! By the hairs of my fake beard! Many people think Guy Lux created the Schmilblick, but no, Charlene! It was Pierre Dac, the brilliant pioneer of the absurd, who invented it.
Angie Chen
What culture, Robert. You amaze me.
Capt. T'Met
It is illogical to suppose an object could both serve no purpose and serve every purpose. Such a contradiction belongs more to a human attempt at absurd humor than to rational analysis.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
T'Met, have you never considered that perhaps the importance of the Schmilblick lies not in what it is, but in what it represents: a capacity to accept the absurd as a tool for cognitive exploration.
Capt. T'Met
Fascinating.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Right... Now that you are officially Federation citizens, it is time to get a little higher.
Agnes V. Rodriguez
What do you mean by that?
Capt. T'Met
A shuttle is waiting for us. Tarsi insisted that we show you...
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
...that we take you for a ride in orbit.
Charlene Savea
In orbit? Awesome! Should we all get ready?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
No, not this time. Only Agnes and Angie are coming with us.
Gornok
What?! Gornok also wants to orbit in shuttle!
Emilie Flores
But why only Agnes and Angie? We're all citizens, aren't we?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Come on, the rest of you will get your turn. For now, they have a special ticket.
Angie Chen
A ticket to what?
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
You will see.
Agnes V. Rodriguez
That's vague. But fine... we had nothing planned.
Without another word, T'Met and Tarsi head for the exit. Angie gives me a questioning look, which I can only mirror. No clue betrays their destination. Outside, an immaculate and elegant Starfleet shuttle is waiting for us, its bright headlights gently piercing the morning fog of San Francisco.
The pilot, a young Starfleet officer, greets us with a formal nod before inviting us aboard. The seats are comfortable, the shuttle walls gleam pearly white, and the integrated screens already display the planned orbital trajectories.
The engines emit a soft hum as the shuttle rises gently from the ground, leaving behind the familiar silhouette of the Golden Gate and the metallic reflection of San Francisco's skyscrapers.
