Since their arrival in the 26th century, the survivors of Enterprise have witnessed a tangle of contradictory events. Tarsi has been arrested for temporal terrorism, Admiral Quihoui has locked Schak'Irra's archives, and young T'Met blindly obeys her directives. Meanwhile, Counsel Touit'Air, Tarsi's Aenar lawyer, has revealed the existence of evidence that seems inaccessible: before Enterprise was destroyed in 1954, Tarsi allegedly entrusted Lingua with data from her journey through the Schak'Irra Timeline. The only solution: go back in time to retrieve it.

TL;DR
Back at their Vista Ridge apartment, T'Met and her team prepare the covert mission: Gornok and Eros will study how to hack a public transporter; Gomard, Manu, Eric, and K'hoka will secure the perimeter; Charlene and Emilie will accompany T'Met aboard Schak'Irra. But before blending in with the crew, T'Met gives K'hoka a task: make her look younger, Orion-style, so she resembles her younger double. By early morning, the team is ready; the rescue plan can begin.
Story
After another improvised little jog through the peaceful streets of San Francisco, led by the tireless T'Met, the group finally returns to their apartment. The night sky is clear, and the city lights reflect on the bay, creating a soothing picture that contrasts with everyone's internal agitation. The team members, though physically resilient, feel the accumulated fatigue marked by the day's events. They enter the apartment with a collective sigh of relief, greeted by a visibly worried Manu.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Aaaah, there you are at last! We were starting to worry! Why did the court hearing take so long?
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
After the hearing, we made a little detour through a virtual-reality cinema.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
It's called a holosuite, Robert!
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Whatever it's called, I won't be caught in one again anytime soon... Phew, my feet are killing me.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
No wonder! What kind of idea is running in stilettos...
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Hey, I'm not the one who improvised a marathon!
Capt. T'Met
Everyone gather in the living room. We have work to do.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Work? Have you seen what time it is?
Capt. T'Met
It is exactly 11:15 p.m. We must be ready for tomorrow morning.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Ready for what???
Manu, Gornok, Eros, K'hoka Khol'a, and Eric join the group. T'Met begins laying out the details of the plan with clinical precision.
Capt. T'Met
Mr. Vitos and Gornok, here is a padd containing the schematic of a public transporter as well as instructions for bypassing all security systems. Study it carefully. You have the whole night to master its operation.
Gornok
Grr... By all the holy pixels, what hardware! With this, Gornok will make the mayonnaise explode!
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Captain T'Met, is it wise to entrust this task to Gornok? I don't feel like ending up grilled like a chicken...
Capt. T'Met
Precisely, Mr. Vitos. You will operate with him. Your task will be to keep an eye on what he is doing.
Lt. Cmdr. Eric Corda (Pilot)
And us, what will we do?
Capt. T'Met
Mr. Corda, you will monitor the area around the transporter with Messrs. Gomard and Manu, as well as Miss K'hoka. You must prevent anyone from approaching it during the operation.
Lt. Cmdr. Eric Corda (Pilot)
Uh, but... we don't exactly look like transporter guards.
Capt. T'Met
Do not worry, we will synthesize uniforms so you can pass for a maintenance team. As for Misses Savea and Flores, they will be disguised as Starfleet officers.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
And you, Captain T'Met?
Capt. T'Met
I will accompany Misses Savea and Flores, and I will assume the identity of my younger double.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
I'm not saying anything, but... there is still quite an age difference between the two of you. Your former officers will not be fooled when they cross paths with you in Schak'Irra's corridors!
Capt. T'Met
You are right, Mr. Gomard. There is a 70-year gap. It will be Miss K'hoka's task to make me look younger.
K'hoka Khol'a
Me?
Capt. T'Met
The other day, in your establishment on the Zorek spaceport, you praised your talents as a makeup artist.
K'hoka Khol'a
Uh, yes... but I am surprised. I thought you would use more sophisticated methods from this era.
Capt. T'Met
We have neither the time nor the equipment. Your methods are just as effective. May I count on you?
K'hoka Khol'a
Of course. Come to the bathroom. But do not expect miracles. It is more an artisan's science than an exact science...
Capt. T'Met
Science, whether exact or intuitive, always produces results.
Six hours later, they finally emerge from the bathroom. The rest of the team is waiting in the living room, and when they see T'Met appear with her new look in her former Schak'Irra captain's uniform, everyone freezes. The transformation is striking.
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
Wow... I think I am falling in love.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Close your mouth, Ensign, or your jaw is going to end up on the floor.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Captain T'Met, you look radiant. K'hoka did remarkable work!
K'hoka Khol'a
I was missing a little dior-pipo powder for her ears, but I think the result is rather successful.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
It freaks me out a little. She has the same intimidating bearing as Admiral Quihoui...
Capt. T'Met
It is illogical to compare me to Admiral Quihoui, since the objective is to make me resemble my younger double.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
And it worked. I still recommend you wear sunglasses.
Capt. T'Met
That is unnecessary, Miss Flores. In our era, glasses are almost obsolete, and where we are going, they will not be necessary.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
It is not for protection, but so no one mistakes you for your double. Take mine.
Capt. T'Met
The irrationality of your reasoning is, paradoxically, rational. Thank you.
Emilie Flores's MI6 Glasses
Awaiting instruction...
Capt. T'Met
What is the text appearing on the lenses?
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Oh, right... it's a high-tech version with integrated features. You control it by gestures, like augmented reality.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Where did you find that pair of glasses, Emilie? They are not part of the Special Fleet's standard equipment!
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Shh... it's a little souvenir from my stay at MI6. With this, we can interact with all kinds of technologies.
Capt. T'Met
Fascinating. What kind of technologies?
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Advanced searches and real-time information analysis drawn from the internet or based on the environment. Remote control of vehicles, drones, helicopters... Making calls, or even sending a text to a friend on Facebook & Co.
Capt. T'Met
Within the scope of our covert rescue mission aboard Enterprise in 1954, that will be of no use. But I acknowledge that the technological advances of the 21st century in your timeline are impressive.
The final hours of the night passed quickly as the team refined the last details of the plan. When the moment came, they left the apartment. Destination: the public transporter, located just across from the tribunal. A place apparently ordinary, but one that, very soon, would become the scene of a covert rescue operation.
