In 1954, Agnes Rodriguez's Enterprise burned after a titanic battle against the Tholian Tarantula. Thanks to the covert mission launched from 2554, T'Met, Charlene, and Emilie crossed time to save Agnes, Angie... and Lingua, who contains the evidence of Admiral Quihoui's involvement in the Schak'Irra Affair. The escape was hell, but the group plunged into the temporal bubble at the last second. Destination: September 26, 2554, inside the temporal chamber of VSS Schak'Irra.

TL;DR
The team bursts into the future, exhausted but alive, bringing Lingua, Agnes, and Angie back from the Enterprise. On Schak'Irra, they receive first aid from Commander Zaneth-Myra Lysana, who covers their presence. During the escape, T'Met comes face-to-face with... herself, her younger version still loyal to Admiral Quihoui. A Vulcan duel breaks out: past against future, logic against conviction. The older T'Met disarms her younger self and leaves the ship, leaving the younger version shaken. The team joins Gornok and the others in San Francisco, where Agnes and Angie reunite with their crew. But the respite is brief: they head straight to the tribunal to save Tarsi, who is being judged by Starfleet.
Story
At the same instant, 600 years in the future, inside Schak'Irra's temporal chamber, Commander Zaneth-Myra Lysana adjusts the controls with precision, trying to bring the rescue team back. Under her fingers, the apparatus activates, and at the center of the metal structure, the temporal bubble begins to disintegrate slowly. I reappear beside T'Met, Emilie, Charlene, Angie, my Ducati, and a cart containing Lingua's components.
As survivors who were at the heart of the Enterprise's destruction, we are in a pitiful state: our uniforms are burned and torn, and we struggle to catch our breath after the ordeal we have just been through. Lysana steps in quickly and gives us first aid, knowing we have very little time before the transport to San Francisco scheduled by Gornok.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
By the lightning of a furious drayjin! You are alive!
Capt. T'Met
Obviously, Number One. Did you doubt the success of this mission?
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
No, but judging by the state of your charred uniforms, I can imagine it was not exactly a walk in the park.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Where are we???
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
You are aboard VSS Schak'Irra, and according to your calendar, the date is September 26, 2554.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
Unbelievable. We're in the future. Who would have thought... And you organized this rescue mission just for the two of us?
Capt. T'Met
Not exactly. You were a bonus. Lingua was the priority objective. Your officers Savea and Flores handled dismantling her while I came to retrieve you on the bridge.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Now I understand why Lingua was no longer reachable.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
And I have to admit Emilie and I had quite a time packing her up.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Oh, you're barely exaggerating, Charlene. Aside from turning the Cocoon into a barbecue, everything went smoothly. Hee-hee.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
Get up. The mission is not over. You must now leave the ship.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
What do you mean, not over? Haven't we reached our destination?
Capt. T'Met
The operation we are conducting is covert, and our presence on Schak'Irra must absolutely not be detected. With Gornok and Ensign Vitos, we set an exfiltration point that we must reach in two minutes.
Cmdr. Zaneth-Myra Lysana (Number One VSS Schak'Irra)
Go. On my side, I will erase the traces of your use of the temporal chamber. Welcome back to Earth.
Capt. T'Met
Live long and prosper, Commander Lysana.
After a few seconds of respite, our small group leaves the temporal chamber and hurries through the ship's corridors. But as we move forward, around the corner of a passageway, we come face-to-face with T'Met's younger double, who immediately draws her phaser.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
You! Here! I knew I should expect some twisted move from you! Do not move!
Capt. T'Met
Savea, Flores, escort Captain Rodriguez and Commander Chen to the exfiltration point while I deal with... my other self.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
We're not abandoning you, Captain T'Met!
Capt. T'Met
Do not argue! Get everyone back to San Francisco! I will join you later.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Come on, Emilie. Time is running out.
We move away reluctantly, leaving T'Met facing her younger double. The tension between them reaches its peak.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
Lingua! Sound the intrusion alert immediately!
Capt. T'Met
No use calling Lingua. She is disconnected.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
What have you come to do on my ship? Espionage?
Capt. T'Met
That does not concern you.
As we move farther away, I cast one last glance back. I see T'Met quickly disarm her double, the two facing each other. They engage in combat, using Vulcan martial techniques with an intensity I had never seen before.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
Surely you do not think I will let you leave like this! Your intrusion will be reported to Starfleet Command.
Capt. T'Met
Logical. I expect nothing less from you. But know that the stakes here go far beyond your career, young Captain.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
You have been contaminated by humans from another time! You are delusional! Admiral Quihoui removed you from command of Schak'Irra for a reason!
Capt. T'Met
Indeed. But my experience with humans strengthened convictions that I know are within you, even if they have not yet matured.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
Your lack of logic proves you have lost your way! Admiral Quihoui is acting in the interest of Starfleet and Ni'Var!
Capt. T'Met
By obeying blindly, you become complicit in her wrongdoing.
Young Capt. T'Met (VSS Schak'Irra)
What wrongdoing? Do you have proof?
Capt. T'Met
That is what I came to find. I did not tell you because I remember perfectly who I was 70 years ago.
The fight intensifies, but T'Met begins to gain the upper hand, anticipating every move from her younger double. Finally, the younger one is brought to the floor. A long, silent look passes between them, their emotions and determination reflected in their eyes.
Capt. T'Met
One day, you will understand.
Without another word, T'Met turns on her heel and joins us at the exfiltration point, leaving behind her younger double, stunned but deeply marked by the confrontation.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
There you are! What did you do to your double?
Capt. T'Met
I gave her absolution, but I doubt she will do the same for me.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
How much longer before Gornok and Vitos transport us?
Capt. T'Met
According to the schedule, it should not be long.
In a halo of light, our team disappears, leaving Schak'Irra and her young Vulcan captain behind.
Meanwhile, in San Francisco, K'hoka Khol'a, Eric, Manu, and Robert are still watching the sidewalk in front of the public transporter dome. Robert checks his watch anxiously, while Manu tries to keep hope alive.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
They will never arrive in time. In two minutes, Starfleet Security agents will come barging in!
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
As someone would say, before it's time, it's not time.
K'hoka Khol'a
Do not be pessimistic. I am convinced Captain T'Met will succeed.
K'hoka has barely finished her sentence when the dome door finally opens, revealing Gornok and Eros, followed by our team. When they see me arrive with Angie alive, everyone rushes over and hugs us with relief and emotion. They all thought they had lost us forever.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Oh my God, Agnes, Angie! This isn't a dream. It's really you?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Yes, Manu. In the flesh.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
Glad to see you again, Manu. Thank you all for your courage.
Lt. Cmdr. Eric Corda (Pilot)
Fantastic. You even brought the Captain's motorcycle back.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Ah, that's thanks to my glasses and Captain T'Met's Vulcan logic.
Capt. T'Met
Indeed. The glasses were useful for activating that antique mechanism, which I did not know.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
One day, I will teach you how to ride it, my dear T'Met.
Capt. T'Met
Oh my God. I hope not. The Money Penny computer is irrationally too exuberant.
Money Penny (Ducati AI)
I am not exuberant, ma'am! I am efficient!
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
I understand you. I tried tinkering with her a little to change her personality, but without success. Ha ha ha.
Col. Robert Gomard (Army)
Say, the warm reunions should probably be postponed, because security will be here shortly.
Capt. T'Met
Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Gomard. Come. The tribunal is across the street.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
The tribunal? What are we going to do there?
Capt. T'Met
Commander Tarsi is being judged there, and we are going to bring the defense evidence to Counsel Touit'Air, her attorney.
At the top of the steps of the large building, I leave my Ducati at the entrance in self-defense mode. Once inside the tribunal's great hall, a security agent blocks our way, claiming the hearing is behind closed doors. T'Met approaches the agent and applies a quick, effective nerve pinch, causing immediate loss of consciousness. The agent collapses to the floor, allowing us to continue without further trouble.
With the way clear, Gornok and Colonel Gomard use their strength to open the large, heavy door of the courtroom.
