K'hoka Khol'a
K'hoka Khol'a is an Orion woman living on Tellar Prime, where she runs a clandestine cafe-cabaret named after her Orion noble title: the Étoile Diamantée des Astres Pétillants. Her encounter with the crew of the Enterprise begins with a matter of latinum, but quickly reveals a far more dangerous situation: K'hoka is a fugitive wanted by Orion pirates.
Dancer, proprietor, former pirate, and survivor of a violent path, she enters the story as an ally of circumstance. Her integration aboard the Enterprise does not come from an immediate commitment, but from flight, a moral debt, and a threat catching up with her on Tellar Prime.

Profile
K'hoka is a character of survival and facade. She knows how to host, negotiate, seduce, distract, and improvise, but these skills are also means of protection in an environment where the slightest weakness can be exploited.
Her cabaret is not merely a burlesque setting. It is a refuge, a livelihood, and a screen behind which she tries to escape the Orions looking for her. Her sensuality, costumes, and the nudity scenes in the Tellar Prime arc belong to this context: they are part of her work, the plan to obtain the latinum, and the very different cultural gaze the characters bring to the body.
K'hoka is not reduced to her role as a dancer, however. Her pirate past, her experience of slavery, her physical strength, and her knowledge of Orion codes explain why she can become a dangerous, precious, and hard-to-classify ally.
Reputation and Gray Areas
K'hoka carries an Orion noble title, Étoile Diamantée des Astres Pétillants, which she has also given to her clandestine cafe-cabaret. This staging of herself is part of her identity: she presents herself as a woman of charm, spectacle, and resourcefulness, but that facade hides a more violent past.
On Tellar Prime, she is at once a proprietor capable of attracting customers, a fugitive trying to disappear, and a former pirate whose reputation may still catch up with her. Her presence intrigues because it mixes nobility, sensuality, past criminality, and survival instinct.
Life Path
K'hoka's life does not begin with her encounter with the crew of the Enterprise. Before Tellar Prime, she has already moved through several worlds where charm, cunning, violence, and survival answer one another.
- Dabo-girl
- K'hoka begins her career in a prestigious casino on Orion Prime, where her charm and sense of showmanship allow her to entertain wealthy customers.
- Exotic Dancer
- She then works as a dancer in exclusive entertainment venues. This experience feeds her stage ease, her relationship to the body, and her ability to command a room's attention.
- Space Pirate
- K'hoka spends time with the Orion pirates. This period gives her knowledge of criminal networks, Orion codes, strategy, and close-quarters combat.
- Slave
- Betrayed by former partners, she is sold at the Orion Prime slave market. This rupture explains her mistrust, resilience, and refusal to fall back under the control of those hunting her.
- Fugitive
- Taking refuge on Tellar Prime, she runs a clandestine cafe-cabaret named after her noble title while looking for a way to leave the planet before the Orions find her.
- Medical Assistant
- After her integration aboard the Enterprise, she draws on her field experience, her readings in battlefield medicine, and her former mercenary practices to assist Doctor Calpel in sickbay.
Training and Skills
K'hoka has not followed a classic academic path. Her training is essentially informal, acquired in the field through her jobs, flights, and alliances.
This experience gives her a highly varied set of skills: dance, stage performance, charisma, negotiation, strategy, close combat, field care, knowledge of Orion codes, use of pheromones, and artisanal physical transformation techniques.

K'hoka appears in the alleys of Zorek Spaceport while Agnes's team is looking for latinum to pay Gornok. She bears the title of Étoile Diamantée des Astres Pétillants, a name she has also given to her clandestine cafe-cabaret.
Her offer is simple and self-interested: help the crew obtain latinum from a foreign client, on condition that Agnes take her away from Tellar Prime once the sum is gathered. From her first appearance, then, K'hoka is not merely a local intermediary: she is looking for a way out.

At the cabaret, K'hoka reveals part of her past. A former associate of mercenaries, she was betrayed, sold at the Orion Prime slave market, then forced to flee. Tellar Prime serves as her hiding place, but she knows that protection will not last.
The threat is concrete: if the Orions take her back, she risks being sent back to Orion Prime and executed. Her request to leave Tellar Prime is therefore not a travel opportunity, but a matter of survival.
The plan she offers the crew rests on her own professional world: an exotic show designed to make a Ferengi client spend money. The stripping and nudity scenes are not a simple isolated gag: they show the gap between the codes of K'hoka's cabaret and those of Agnes, Angie, Tarsi, or T'Met.

K'hoka prepares Agnes, Angie, Tarsi, and T'Met for the show meant to squeeze latinum out of Blunderbust Braggart. Costumes, movement practice, the Tellarite Dermalizer, and burlesque staging are part of an improvised strategy, but one coherent with her cabaret experience.
She fully accepts the sensual dimension of the plan. For her, undressing on stage belongs to the realm of work and performance, while the crew of the Enterprise projects its own discomfort, curiosity, and cultural limits onto it.
When the Orion pirates burst in to capture her, the show turns into a shootout. K'hoka stops being only the one helping pay Gornok: she becomes the real target of a danger already following her trail.

After the cabaret evacuation, K'hoka ends up aboard with Agnes and her team. The latinum gathered finally makes it possible to finance the repairs, but her own situation remains unstable: her refuge on Tellar Prime is no longer one, and the Orions know where to find her.
Agnes offers her a place aboard, in keeping with the promise made on Tellar Prime. As with Gornok, this presence does not yet mean full integration into the crew: K'hoka is first a fugitive protected by circumstances.

During the boarding of the Enterprise, K'hoka is one of the bargaining chips demanded by Blunderbust Braggart. She therefore finds herself at the center of the crisis, not as an official crew member, but as a fugitive whose capture would have deadly consequences.
Alongside Tarsi, she helps neutralize Orion pirates in the corridors. The scene reveals her physical strength, combat mastery, and use of pheromones capable of disorienting humanoid males. She also discovers transporters with astonishment, a sign that she does not belong to the same technological level as the crew she accompanies.
She is therefore not only protected by the Enterprise: she also helps retake it, while still remaining outside its codes and customs.
After Episode 110 - Sickbay Assistant
Read after Episode 110.
After the escape to Proxima Centauri B and several weeks of respite, K'hoka asks to stay aboard the Enterprise. Agnes accepts and integrates her into sickbay as assistant to Doctor Calpel.
This assignment does not come out of nowhere. K'hoka has studied a battlefield medicine work by Doctor Calpel and connects those practices to the ones she applied when she was a mercenary. Her integration therefore comes through a practical, hard-won skill rather than through classic medical training.
K'hoka does not erase her past, but she is no longer only an Orion refugee caught in flight: she begins to occupy a useful place in the life of the starship.

In the 26th century, K'hoka is among the survivors of the Enterprise settled at Vista Ridge. During the clandestine operation meant to recover Agnes, Angie, and Lingua, she stays with Robert Gomard, Eric Corda, and Manu to secure the area around the public transporter.
She also helps prepare T'Met, particularly during the transformation needed to make her look more like her younger double. The scene remains artisanal, almost improvised, but the result is convincing enough to serve the mission.
Overall Portrait
K'hoka is a character of contrast. She may enter a scene through cabaret, seduction, or burlesque, then almost immediately reveal a story of flight, betrayal, slavery, and survival.
Her path explains the way she acts. The dabo girl, dancer, pirate, and slave are not four separate anecdotes: they are the stages that built a woman capable of reading a room, negotiating quickly, striking hard, and hiding her wounds behind a controlled facade.
Aboard the Enterprise, K'hoka is not simply protected by the crew. She brings her own resources: her knowledge of Orion circles, her combat experience, field skills, pheromones, and a form of practical intelligence that has nothing academic about it.
Yet she remains difficult to categorize. Noble by title, criminal through part of her past, victim through what she endured, and ally through what she chooses to do, K'hoka exists precisely in that tension.
