After retaking the Enterprise from the Orion pirates and shaking off their privateers with a warp jump, Agnes set course for Proxima Centauri B to give her crew a well-deserved vacation. In orbit, the vote organized through Lingua delivered its verdict: all officers want to correct the 1954 temporal contamination, then rebuild their future between Proxima Centauri B and the 26th century. But compiling the ballots triggered a bug in Lingua's memories, revealing an ultra-classified block linked to Admiral Quihoui and an old Starfleet mission. With T'Met's help, the AI has been stabilized... and the way is now clear to launch the final mission: return to the moment when everything went off the rails.

TL;DR
After several weeks of truce on Proxima Centauri B, Agnes gathers the whole crew on the bridge to launch their final mission: return to 1954 and face the Tholian ship that doomed their timeline. K'hoka is officially assigned to sickbay, Gornok takes charge of engineering, Angie keeps tactical, Manu gets the science station, while Tarsi and T'Met will pilot Tal'Kyr to open the temporal passage. Eros and Tarsi unveil their mobile mines, their last ace against the Tholians. On Agnes's order, Tal'Kyr moves ahead of the Enterprise, activates the temporal jump, and both ships are pulled into a blinding vortex... until time and space seem to freeze. The journey back to 1954 has begun.
Story
Captain Agnes Rodriguez's log: For several weeks, I allowed my crew to rest during the end-of-year holiday period on the surface of Proxima Centauri B. These are the first holidays we have spent together beyond the stars since the tragedy of July 15. This truce has been a breath of fresh air and a necessary moment of reflection for each of us, allowing us to heal the psychological wounds left by the trials we endured. It was also an opportunity for me to talk with our new refugees, K'hoka Khol'a and Gornok, who asked to remain aboard the Enterprise: Gornok as an engineering specialist and K'hoka as a medical assistant in sickbay. Although I explained that our journey was not without risk, they insisted anyway, and as a result I gave them the positions they wanted.
We are now heading for Earth to accomplish our final mission: correct the temporal contamination of 1954. As we approach Schak'Irra's last known coordinates, I make my way to the bridge to command the operation.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
[whistle] CAPTAIN ON THE BRIDGE!
In eight years as a captain, I have grown used to protocol entrances that became ordinary routine, but this time the protocol is carried out with a solemn air unlike anything I have ever experienced. All my officers stand at attention and salute me. Angie, Eric, Emilie, Charlene, Manu, Robert, Eros, Victor, Tarsi, T'Met, K'hoka, and Gornok are all present and begin clapping slowly. I look at each of them with a slight smile and a nod of thanks. After long minutes of applause, Mr. Corda steps forward.
Lt. Cmdr. Eric Corda (Pilot)
Captain, everyone here knows I am not the best at making beautiful, long, pompous, moving speeches, but on behalf of the crew, I can say that we are ready to follow you to the end of the world, and that we are more than motivated to give the Tholians one hell of a beating. We know the danger is great and that some of us may not come back from this mission. You need to know that it will not stop us, whatever the cost. There will be no going home without victory.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Thank you, Mr. Corda. Thank you all for your support and loyalty. Throughout these months, together, we have crossed the unthinkable, and you have shown extraordinary courage. Together, once again, we will fight side by side, not under NATO's banner, but in the name of humanity, for humanity. Thank you once again for standing with me through this final trial.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Agnes, as a civilian, allow me to say that you talk too much. Take your seat; we are waiting for your orders.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Ooooh, our Manu is coming into his own. At your orders, Mr. Counselor. Number One, do you have my pad?
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
Here it is, Captain. The mission data have been updated.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Perfect. Let us begin with sickbay. K'hoka, as agreed, you are joining the doctor's team as an assistant. Did you have time to study?
K'hoka Khol'a
Yes, I read Dr. S. Calpel's book War Medicine. It is very interesting. Earth practices are very close to those I used when I was a mercenary. I will have no difficulty adapting to your sickbay.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
War Medicine? Seriously, Doctor?
Dr. Victor S. Calpel
You know the saying, desperate times call for desperate measures, Captain. I only had two weeks, and since our green alien had never seen a human before, I had to adopt a radical learning approach that would benefit her in our situation.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
I trust you, Doctor. In that field, you are the teacher. Now let us move on to the next sector: engineering.
Gornok
Grr... By all the hair follicles of the big toe, that is Gornok's sector... Grr...
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
That is correct, Gornok. I am counting on you to make sure your team can power every sector of the starship. You will coordinate with Charlene.
Gornok
Grr... Gornok will be equal to the challenge... Uh, Charlene, who is that again? Would that be the hysterical one who yells all the time?
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
I am Charlene. I only become hysterical when someone pushes me too far, but I have never yelled for no reason!
Gornok
Grr... Too bad. Gornok likes it when you yell hysterically. Ha ha...
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Please stay zen and save your energy for fighting the Tholians. Charlene, Emilie, Eric, Manu, and Angie, you keep your posts on the bridge.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Captain, it had been agreed that Lingua would assist me at communications.
Lingua
[beep] huh, uh, what, what is it?! Did you call me, Ensign Flores?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Lingua will reinforce overloaded stations. Is that not right, Lingua?
Lingua
[beep] I will execute the tasks added to the queue.
Manu (Requisitioned Civilian)
Uh, Agnes, why do I have to be on the bridge?
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Tarsi and T'Met will have another task. Consequently, you are taking over the science station, and Angie will handle tactical.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
So T'Met and I will pilot Tal'Kyr and take you to 1954...
Capt. T'Met
... And as soon as we arrive at our destination, we will support the Enterprise and the shuttles led by Colonel Gomard.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Since the shuttles do not have much firepower, they will mainly serve to distract the Tholian ship. Is everything ready on your end, Colonel?
Col. Robert Gomard (Ground Forces)
There are still a few adjustments to make in the distribution of my teams, but by the time we arrive in 1954, everything will be settled. As for me, I will pilot Herbie 53.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
You had better not bring her back with a scratch!
Col. Robert Gomard (Ground Forces)
I know how much you care about your little shuttle. I promise I will take care of her like the apple of my eye.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
All that remains is to review the weapons. Eros, I hope you checked the state of our stockpiles.
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
To tell the truth, Captain, we did not exactly hold back during the battle at the starbase. As a result, our stock is limited to 25 DXS, about a hundred mines, and 30 torpedoes.
Cmdr. Angie Chen (Number One)
Given how few torpedoes we have left, we will need to be extremely economical and effective if we are going to pierce the Tholian ship's defenses.
Ens. Eros Vitos (Weapons Engineer)
That is why Tarsi and I have been working for several weeks on an alternative. We dismantled a few DXS and coupled the components to mines. We now have mobile mines.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Good work, both of you. We can begin the mission. Everyone to your posts!
While everyone gets busy with their task, Tarsi and T'Met settle aboard Tal'Kyr and wait for my green light to begin the operation.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
Savea, open the shuttle bay doors.
Lt. Charlene Savea (Operations)
Bay open, Captain.
Ens. Emilie Flores (Communications)
Captain, we are in communication with Tal'Kyr.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
On screen, Flores.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
This is Tal'Kyr. We are ready.
Capt. Agnes V. Rodriguez
You are cleared for launch, Tal'Kyr.
Cmdr. Vexoriana-Lyss'ra Tarsi
Order received. We are moving into position. Tal'Kyr out.
Tarsi positions Tal'Kyr in front of the Enterprise while T'Met operates her console to enter the necessary calculations. After a few seconds, a whirlpool of light and distortion forms. Our two ships move slowly inside. Then, suddenly, the current intensifies and carries us away at unimaginable speed, to the point that we can no longer make out the vortex because the effects are so blinding. After a few minutes, with a low rumble, we stop dead, as if time and space had frozen.
